How I work with you

I am honoured to be walking beside you on your journey of discovering parts of yourself that you have yet get an opportunity to get in touch with due to past trauma, low self-worth/ self-esteem, chronic suicidal ideation, loneliness, life challenges, burn out, sense of disconnection from yourself and from the world, mental or physical health diagnosis. Our session is a safe space for your body, mind and spirit, and I am planning to do that by holding the space, honouring your process, and at the same time, believing in your path. I will focus on providing you with the tools and techniques that you need to keep walking and making your own path. I am not here to fix you or tell you what to do. I am here to support, guide and walk alongside you through this tough time, so that you don’t have to do it alone.

Over the years, I developed interest in working with individuals who suffer from PTSD, complex PTDS, Depression, Anxiety, Grief, Loss, Life Transition and Adjustment Disorder, as well as individuals who experience vicarious trauma, particularly First responders). Given the medical and evidence-based practice framework that I practice in public mental health, I started to question if this is all that we are capable off. I found myself in the position of seeking for answers, for new ways of being, and if there is a different way to ignite and nurture a person’s innate capacity of healing from adverse events. I went on a journey doing additional training in holistic counselling, psychotherapy, yoga, committed to doing my own inner work, encountered mentors and teachers who changed my life forever.

My migration experience in the 2000s have given me insights into issues that are often experienced by immigrants and CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) community. For anyone who speaks English as a second language, I would like to welcome you to our session with warmth.  

I value deep connection to ourselves and others, and I am hoping to help you to discover yours.

Healing Through Connection: My Path in Mental Health and Personal Growth​

My approach is a transdisciplinary approach, crossing over from Process Work (Process Oriented Psychology), Inner Work, Jungian Dream Analysis, Interpersonal Therapy (IPS), trauma focus CBT, Mindfulness, Meditation and Breath Work. I also offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing) Therapy to clients who deem suitable for this type of treatment.

Apart from counselling and psychotherapy, I also offer consultation, comprehensive Mental Health Assessment, formulation and treatment plan if requested by your GP. I currently offer telehealth service to clients Australia wide, and some face to face appointments based in Sydney. Please inquire in the inquiry box if you need to see me face to face.

I am an AASW accredited Clinical Social Worker, and a PACFA accredited Psychotherapist in training. Being where I am today has been a journey of lived experience, working in both public and private mental health sector, and dedication to ongoing personal growth and healing.
